About Us
Professional History
I have worked in the financial services industry since I graduated from college 35 years ago. I started at Josephthal & Co. as a broker and worked my way to branch manager and a partnership in the company and a member of the Board of Directors. I then became their Director of Floor Operations with responsibility for the New York Stock Exchange and American Stock Exchange staffs. I was also a member of both stock exchanges.

I left the NY Stock Exchange floor to accept the job of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Josephthal overseeing a sales force of 300 financial advisors. In 1988 I completed a three year post graduate program at the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School.

In 1990 I joined Gruntal & Co. as Senior Vice President and Senior Regional Manager for 600 sales personnel in 30 offices nationwide. At this time I also began six years service on the Sales and Marketing Committee of the Securities Industry Association, an organization representing the top securities firms in the country.

I had been a salesman, manager, floor execution broker, in charge of sales and marketing and a regional manager. I felt the time was right and I formed my own Wall Street executive and sales recruiting firm, Schwarzkopf Recruiting Services, LLC. For most of my clients, I have been where you are now and I understand what you need and where to find it.
